Portraits w/Sunglasses of Summer

7th Graders in all 6 Art Exploration periods worked on charcoal 
portraits, with memories of their summer vacation in their sunglasses.  They 
used mirrors to draw self portraits from observation, and learned the proper 
proportions of the human face.  Throughout the lesson the students practiced 
shading,texture and value to create a three dimensional quality in their 
work.
