Bonjour! I am very happy to be your French teacher this year! I am
originally from upstate New York. I went to the University of New York at
Albany where I got my Bachelor of Arts degree in French and my Master of
Arts degree in Education. I also spent my Junior year of college studying
in France at the Université de Grenoble.
I love French and I love teaching! I can't believe that I am about to begin
my 23rd year at Hammarskjold!
I love to travel and have been all over Europe, Australia and the
Caribbean. I am an avid reader and I love to play board and card games. I
also enjoy cooking and playing computer games.
It is my mission to help you reach your potential this year. I believe that
all students can succeed in their own unique ways and it is my job to
provide opportunities to help you succeed in French and to develop a
positive self-image. I hold high expectations for each of my students and I
will help you meet them.
