Supply List for 6th Grade Verbal GATE

1 Binder with filler paper and dividers for Reading and Writing
3 Marble Composition Books (for Word Study, Reading Response Journal, and Writer's Notebook)
1 Box of TWO-GALLON size baggies (for holding ind. reading book and bookmarks - these are available in store-brand or Ziploc brand in many local stores)
1 Package of plain, square sticky notes (to keep in pencil case)
1 Package of blue or black pens (to keep in pencil case)
1 Package of red or green pens (to keep in pencil case)
3 Highlighters in various colors (to keep in pencil case)
1 Glue Stick (to keep in pencil case) - OPTIONAL
1 Pair of blunt-edged safety scissors (to keep in pencil case) - OPTIONAL
TO CREATE AN AGENDA BINDER FOR ALL CLASSES *
1 Sturdy 1-Inch Binder
1 Two-Pocket Folder with holes for binder rings (to hold all homework and take-home items)
1 Flexible zippered pencil pouch with 3-holes for binder rings ( to hold supplies for all classes)
