This will be my sixth year teaching here at Hammarskjold. Over the past few
years, I have learned a lot about the various ways in which students learn.
I put this knowledge to use by differentiating my approach to meet their
individual needs. In my classroom, I strive to promote an atmosphere of
respect, trust, and risk-taking. While my academic passions include reading
and writing, in my personal life I enjoy running, spending time with my
husband, Brian, and playing with my dog, Baxter. You may see me somewhere
along the line in our shared neighborhood of East Brunswick, so feel free to
say hello!
This year, our mission is to grow. We will stretch and challenge ourselves
as readers and writers. Through this process, we will become better
communicators. It is also our goal to become better human beings by
continuously testing and improving our character. In this way, we will all
become important and beneficial components of the Hammarskjold community and
the outside world.
