Welcome! This is where you will find our goals and objectives for the week.
30 de noviembre- 4 de diciembre
This week we will have two main objectives. First we will review for the test
on unit 4.2 which will be on Wednesday. On Thursay we will begin the new
unit: 4.2 which is about shopping. On Thursday and Friday you will learn
vocabulary related to a market, what types of products you can buy, how to
tell prices and getting presents for family and friends.
16-20 de noviembre
This week we will continue expaniding of our theme of the city. We will focus
on giving directions, how to get to places around the city. You can follow
this in the textbook Unit 4 Lesson 1.
9-13 de noviembre
This week we will begin a new theme: the city. We will learn the names of
places in the city and discuss means of transportation. We will also discuss
location. You can follow this in the textbook: Unit 4 Lesson 1.
2-4 de noviembre
This week you will present your brochure project. If you need to go over
directions, you can go to "documentos". Remember you must present by
Wednesday. If you do not have your project on Monday, you will lose 10
points.
19-23 de octubre
This week we will continue to work on Unit 3, Lesson 3 in the textbook. You
will learn how to avoid repetition by using direct objects: lo/la and
los/las. You will also be able to say what is happening
(estar+verbo+ando/iendo).
13-16 de octubre
This week we will continue to work on Unit 3, Lesson 3 in the textbook. We
will learn about expressing how we and others feel using expressions with the
verb "tener" (frío, hambre, etc.).
5-9 de octubre
This week we will begin UNIT 3.3. You will be discussing the seasons,
weather, clothes and accessories. You will also be saying how you feel using
expressions with the verb "tener". You will have a vocabulary quiz on Friday.
29 de septiembre- 2 de octubre
This will be the last week we will be reviewing. You will be asking and
answering questions and reviewing verbs (verb endings and stem changing). You
can find this in the textbook, p.151 and unit 3.2. You will have a mini oral
presentation on Thursday and a verb test on Friday. I will be staying after
school for help on Thursday.
21-25 de septiembre
This week we will continue to review. This time you will be saying how often
you do certain activities, and also what you prefer, think and want. For this
we are going to look at verb endings (ar, er, ir) and stem changing verbs
(querer, preferir, pensar). This is in units 2.3 and 3.2 in your textbook.
14-18 de septiembre
This week we will continue to review. By Friday, you will have reviewed
pronouns, saying where people are from, frequency and verbs that en in AR.
9-11 de septiembre: This week you will become familiar with the class rules
and procedures. You will also introduce yourself to your classmates and show
how much you remember from last year.
