Thanks to all the parents who attended back to school night - what a great turnout! I hope that we can
continue to work together to ensure a challenging, yet successful year for your children.
I will begin collecting notebooks on October 2. Please see the schedule posted next to the homework
board in the classroom or the calendar I asked you to put in your ILA folder for specific dates when
your notebooks are due. If you forget what color you are, check the sticker on your writer's notebook.
You will turn in your writer's notebook one week and your reader's notebook the next.
Remember, every item you forget to bring to class, counts 5 points off your
preparation grade. (The first two are freebies) This grade is 5% of your
quarterly grade. If you need help organizing your locker so that you are more
able to remember what to bring, please ask me.
