Mission For The Class

The 7th Grade World History course takes a comprehensive look at World 
History from the fall of the Roman Empire (27A.D. – 476 A.D.) to the 
Enlightenment period (18th Century).  We will examine topics such as the 
growth of Islam, Asian Civilizations, Medieval Societies, changes in Europe, 
the exploration of the New World, and the new ideas brought forth during the 
Enlightenment period and how they changed the world.  This course will allow 
students to explore essential periods, people, and areas of the world that 
hold significance to the world we live in today.
