Greetings, and welcome to Hammarskjold! I'm looking forward to an exciting
year. I know that we will have a wonderful sixth grade journey together and hope that we can explore
reading and writing as a caring, comfortable "classroom family." If you ever need help, please feel free

I graduated from the University of South Carolina (Go Gamecocks!) with a Bachelor's degree in print
journalism. I then pursued a master's degree in elementary education, and in 2007 I graduated. That
summer my new degree and I followed my husband and his work to the beautiful state of New Jersey.
I've been enjoying my time at HMS ever since.
I'm passionate about books, movies, animals, and education. I look forward to getting to know all of you
and to learn together this coming year!
