What if I have a sore throat? Do I still need to come to rehearsal?
Of course! As long as you're not contagious and don't have a fever, come to rehearsal. You can still learn your music by listening and following along in the score. The general rule is: if it hurts or is irritating to sing, don't sing!Back to Top

I don't have a piano at home. Can I still succeed in beginning piano?
Of course. You may take a bit longer to master some of the songs without a keyboard at home to practice on, but you can go over all of the basics we cover in class. Use a table top to practice" your songs. The key is to get those curved fingers moving! Follow the music for the notes and fingering, and keep at it!! You are trying to establish muscle memory by practicing specific exercises in class and at home. You can also review note reading on the treble and bass clefs, and review rhythms for faster recognition.Back to Top
