WEEK OF NOVEMBER 30:
Math 6 will finish Unit 3 this week. We'll finish our work on time graphs on
Monday. We'll have a quiz on Lessons 3.4-3.5 and 3.7-3.9 on Tuesday. We'll
finish the last lesson in the unit midweek. I will likely be assigning a
project some time this week. Students will need to gather data for this
project over a period of a week. They'll need to keep track of how much HW
they do each night and have a parent sign their paper each night. Please
keep an eye out for this project. In the meantime, I'm tentatively
scheduling our Unit 3 test for next Tuesday, December 8.
Math Prime will begin the week by working on multiplying fractions. We'll
have a quiz on the first part of Unit 4 on Tuesday. From there, we'll move
on to multiplying mixed numbers and dividing fractions and mixed numbers.
We'll likely have another quiz on multiplying and dividing fractions, whole
numbers, and mixed numbers early next week. Our Unit 4 test will likely be
toward the end of next week. I'll give the kids more concrete dates later in
the week.
