The kids should try to solve this problem.  Here's the majorly abridged 
version:
A guy is presented with three urns.  The first contains 100 black balls.  The 
second contains 100 white balls.  The third contains 50 of each.  A king will 
randomly draw a ball from one urn.  If he draws a black ball, the guy will 
die.  If he draws a white one, the guys gets to marry his daughter the 
princess.  The guy is allowed to rearrange the balls and/or urns before the 
king draws the ball.  So, what should he do in order to maximize his chances 
for survival?
