During a lull in the fighting you are writing home to let your family know that you have survived the Battle of ___________________________________________ in ______________________. Using books and Web Sites, please read about all aspects of the battle so that you can write realistically. In your letter please describe/include the following information: · Events leading up to the battle · What did you witness during the battle · Name of the British Commander · Name of the American Commander · Strengths and weaknesses of each side, i.e. number of soldiers, cavalry, cannons etc. · Casualties on both side: # of troops injured, captured, and killed · Results of the Battle: Who won?
