About The Teacher

I attended Rutgers College for 2 years majoring in Political Science with an
intention of going to Law School, however I had a change of heart and went
into the banking industry for many years.

I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Kean University with a double major in
History and Elementary Education. I am an NTE certified teacher for the
state of New Jersey.I am actively maintaining my license by doing 100 hours
of continuing education over a five year period. I firmly believe that
learning is a lifelong process and I am always looking to stay fresh and
current with teaching trends.

I am married with three children. I have twins, a boy and a girl. My son
graduated from Seton Hall and currently works in Hoboken. His twin sister
went to ESU in Penn. for college and is now
a certified Early Childhood/Elementary school teacher. My youngest child a
girl is in her last year at Seton Hall majoring in finance. When she
graduates in May I will feel like I've won the lottery after 8 straight years
of college tuition payments.
I also love to travel. We have taken many cruises and would love to go
back to Europe some day.
I am a voracious reader, especially mysteries and I love Harry Potter. (Yes,
I read all of them)
I am a big hockey fan- I love the Devils. Yes, Catholic school teachers are
allowed to LOVE DEVILS. I also enjoy watching
soccer, especially since I put in a lot of years being a soccer mom. I
always come out to as many HSS games as I can....old habits die hard. I love
baseball, and my team has been the Mets since 1967. (I know, I know they
were terrible this year but you have to be loyal if you love them) I like
the Giants in football.
Hopefully you now know a little something about me.

Mission For The Class

To have a wonderful year academically, spiritually, and socially. I want the
class to see that learning can be fun and that it is a life long process.
