Happy New Year!
I am astonished how time flies by so quickly! The eighth grade will begin
creating our yearbook. The class enjoys looking back on the years spent in
HSS, as well as having a bit of fun with the Can You Imagine page. We also
hope to include our graduates' baby pictures with some surprises,too!
Thank you for your beautiful Christmas cards and lovely gifts. Your
thoughtfulness is so appreciated. I would like to send a special thank you to
my super classmoms, Mrs. Cabatu and Mrs. Cavacas. I am truly blessed to have
such dedicated Moms. Our classroom celebrations are wonderful because of you!

Meghan Kelly, a seventh grade student, won FIRST PLACE in a writing contest
sponsored by Queen of Peace High School. More than 350 students from various
schools competed in the contest. I am so proud of you, Meghan, but I am
certainly not surprised. You have been blessed with the gift of writing.
