I have been teaching in the East Brunswick District since 1999. I started
as a travel teacher in Warnsdorfer, Chittick and Frost. After 2 years,
Irwin became my home. I am very happy to be teaching in Irwin!
I now teach all first through fifth grade students, except for one second
grade class. Those students will be instructed by the talented travel art
teacher, Mrs. Sasso.
Goals for art instruction in the elementary school are well defined by East
Brunswick curriculum guidelines. Within that framework, I try to provide a
broad educational program and learning environment that fosters positive
feelings toward self and others so that each student may develop individual
talents, interests and skills. I want to create a life-long love of art in
my students. And, I want them to have fun trying new techniques necessary
for art production. Smiling in the art studio is important!
