Books to Keep Program Gives the Gift of reading to Children of families in Need

EAST BRUNSWICK, New Jersey – November, 2011 – Share the joy of reading with
children by bringing a book donation to the East Brunswick Public Library. For
the past 21 years the Books to Keep program has partnered with 30 non-profit,
social service and educational groups to provide books as holiday gifts to
children whose families cannot afford to purchase them. All the books donated
will be distributed to children in Middlesex County. Some partner groups
include Head Start sites, St. Vincent de Paul Society, Ozanam Family homeless
shelter, and Jewish Family Services.

The Books to Keep is a project of the Children’s Librarians of Middlesex
County. Books will be accepted until the end of December. Just drop off your
donation at the library or use one of the envelopes provided for a monetary
donation.
