Announcements

Dear Parents, 

   Thank you to all the parents who attended Back to School Night.  We're off to a great start!  The students are doing very well adjusting to their new classes.  Our Reading and Writing units are in full effect, so please be sure that you are checking your child's agenda each night to ensure that all homework is complete.  The Reader's Notebook, Independent Reading Books, Writer's Notebook and Reading Log should be brought home each night and returned to school the next day.  Please refer to the "Homework" link on my webpage for specific details. 

Just a few friendly reminders: 
·        Irwin's Ice Cream Social will be held on Monday, September 26 at 6:30 p.m. on the playground.
·       Be on the lookout for other upcoming events by checking out the calendar link.  
·      Remember to send your child to school with a healthy snack.

       Lastly, an ILA (Integrated Language Arts) Parent Page has been developed to inform K-5 parents of the most current ILA news. The page consists of Announcements, Upcoming Events, The Components of an ILA Day, Sight Word Lists, Sight Word Strategies, Assessment Information and a Photo Gallery. You can access this page by going onto ebnet.org  clicking on Curriculum, Language Arts, and then Language Arts K-5 Parent Page (found in the top left corner).
