Hi! My name is Mrs. Mckinnon and I am very excited to be the ESL
teacher at Irwin. This will be my second year at Irwin.
I have previously worked at Memorial and Bowne-Munro in
first-grade and kindergarten. I received my Masters Degree in Education and
ESL certification from Monmouth University.
I love my job! I have a wonderful situation, as I work closely with my
students in small group settings. I also have the availability to plan
lessons conjuctively with their homeroom teachers.
In addition to being a teacher, I am also a mother. Therefore, I am
sensitive to the concerns that you may have as a parent. Please contact me

Students learn to understand, speak, read, and write in English well enough
to succeed in school and feel confident. Students learn in a fun and
comfortable classroom environment
