| Welcome to 3rd Grade!
Please be on the look out for notices sent home this week about a special
science event in February--the "INVENTION CONVENTION."
While we will be discussing ideas for the inventions in class, the third
graders will be constructing their inventions at home. Inventions and
posters are due in school by Monday, February 25th. Students will present
their creative inventions at the "INVENTION CONVENTION" in the Lawrence
Brook gym on Tuesday, February 26th. Parents are welcome to attend!
The third graders are also excited for Lawrence Brook's MULTICULTURAL
FESTIVAL on February 11th.
On February 25th, we will learn about dental hygiene from a very special
dentist, Dr. Paris!
On February 29th, we will celebrate Dr. Seuss's birthday with schoolwide
activities to honor the famous children's author on "Read Across America"
Day.
