Valentine’s Day Bingo Night
Friday, February 10th, 2012
7:00pm-8:30pm
(Pizza will be served at 6:30pm in the LBS Gymnasium, please be prompt)
Bingo Night is open to LBS Families only. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Ticket Price is $3.50 per child, adults are FREE
**We are currently accepting donations for prizes. New toys, games, crafts, books etc. . .**
There is a donation bin in the main office.
We will have pizza before the games begin!
You MUST PRE-ORDER all pizza (by the slice or by the pie)
Please complete and return theregistration form with payment to school by Tuesday, February 7th marked “PTA BINGO NIGHT”
No tickets will be sent home, a list will be at the door of all paid participants

ROLLER SKATING
Wednesday, March 7, 2012 (1/2 day of school)
3pm-5pm
The Arenas @ Woodbridge
Admission: $5 if registered by February 24th or pay $7 at the door.
Skate Rental available at the door for $4
(Don’t forget to bring $ for skate rental)
This is a LBS event. . . the rink will be CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC!!
Snacks will be available for purchase at the rink’s restaurant.
Reservations strongly recommended. . .
entry MAY be allowed at the door, depending on amount of pre-registrants.
***Parents/guardians MUST accompany children and are responsible for transportation.***

Parent Volunteer Tutoring Program
The parent volunteer tutoring program provides extra assistance to the students at Lawrence Brook School. The program relies on parent volunteers to provide extra reinforcement in the areas of language arts and math. This program will allow students to meet one on one with parent volunteers who will be trained to assist students with fluency, comprehension, decoding, and math concepts.
This program can only be successful with your help.
Please complete and return to your child’s teacher the Parent Volunteer Tutoring Form if you can commit to being a volunteer tutor one hour a week.
As this is not a PTA program, questions should be directed to one of the Basic Skills Specialists at the school.
