November 23 - 27, 2009
Report cards will be coming home on Tuesday. If you haven't yet sent in
your conference confirmation slip, please do so as soon as possible. I hope
that everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday!
In Math, we are doing algebra! The class is learning what variables
are, and how to evaluate (solve) problems with variables in them.
In Language Arts, we will continue to read & summarize "Charlotte's
Web", as well as answer questions about the story & define vocabulary words.
Because this is a 3-day school week, there is no spelling list to master.
In Science, we will continue to learn about light, particularly concave
and convex lenses, & begin to review what we've learned about light as there
will be a test next week.
