We began the day by going over three Math problems and last night's
homework.
After Gym, the class answered questions about chapters 4-6 of "Charlotte's
Web" and then summarized chapter 7.
In Science, we wrote the definition for "refracted light" and then learned
about lens and how they bend light.
After lunch, in Math, the students had to determine which of 2 number
expressions fit with a given word problem.
And in Science, during 8th period, the class performed activities that
demonstrated how convex lenses work.

We began the day by going over three Math problems and then learning what a
number expression is.
After Media Center, we read chapter 6 of "Charlotte's Web", and then the
students wrote summaries about what happened. We also visited the Book Fair
to preview the books.
During Science, we went over what reflected light is, and wrote a
definition. We then redid our experiments that showed how light can bend, or
refract.
After lunch, the students did MMM (30 addition problems), and then wrote
number expressions for word problems.
At 2:25, most of the class went to Choir, so those who stayed worked on
classwork, practiced cursive, or read.
