I am thrilled to be back for a sixth year at Manito School. I am truly
looking forward to an exciting and successful school year. I consider it a
privilege to be working with your children and the staff at Manito School.
I am a graduate of Rutgers University where I earned my Bachelor of Arts
Degree in Special Education, Elementary Education and Economics. I have
over ten years of teaching experience in the field of Special Education. I
have always found it extremely rewarding to work with children. I aspire to
be a teacher who is consistent, accepting, firm and reinforcing. I hope to
always have a positive attitude with my students in order to promote
self confidence. I want to provide a safe environment where my students
can develop academically, socially and emotionally. I wish to maintain
positive relationships with my students, parents and colleagues. It is
my desire for my students to leave my class expecting to succeed.
Each student will have their own unique learning style. It is my mission to
tailor my program to suit the child, not the group. It is my goal and my
passion to assist each student in reaching his or her academic potential.
