Ask the Librarian
How many books may I check out per week? Well, if you are in Kindergarten, you may check out one. First Grade may check out two. Second Grade may check out four. Third Grade may check out five. Fourth Grade may check out six. I checked out 6 books, but only returned 4. Can I still get books? Yes, because 6 minus 4 equals 2, so you may check out 2 books. GASP!!! You must pay the library a million dollars. Just kidding. Bring your books back the very next school day and you may check new ones out. Make sure your teacher knows you need to visit the library. Did you really lose it or just temporarily misplace it? If you really cannot find it after two or three weeks, have you parent, or whoever is in charge of you, call Mrs. Moon or Mrs. White (233-7950 ext.155) and we will work it out. Don't worry, we don't bite (much)! My book accidentally got wet - now it's ruined! Oh, dear! Please don't let your goldfish borrow your books anymore! He can't read it anyway, so always keep your books in a safe place. But, since the book can no longer be read by anyone else, you or your parent will have to pay the cost to replace it. It's not usually too bad. Just have your parent call us, 233-7950 ext.155. Librarians are so cool! Can I become one? Yes. If you work very hard at being silly. |
