Librarian:
Mrs. Moon

Mrs. Moon is a lifelong reader who also enjoys playing and listening to music.
In fact, she received an undergraduate degree in music from Rowan
University and spent 10 years teaching private piano and voice lessons to kids
just like you. She also spent a few years working behind the scenes in
opera/theater getting dirty and dusty moving and building sets and such,
reading books all the while. Then, realizing that life is long enough to try
many different things, she decided to become a librarian, receiving a Masters
Degree in Library Science from Rutgers University. She plans on being a
librarian for many, many years and then - well, who knows what's next? In
her spare time, she enjoys reading (duh!), gardening (you should see her
cucumbers and potatoes!), crocheting, playing the piano, and doing word/sudoku
puzzles.
The library has one MAIN objective and that is to teach kids to ENJOY
reading!
We believe that reading is a hobby, not a chore and hope to demonstrate to
all children that there are books for everyone and that each one of us can be a
successful reader.
