***Astronomy***
The fourth grade astronomy unit will take students on a trip to our school planetarium daily, starting February 1st!While in the planetarium students will learn about different constellations and their origins. We will study constellations and myths from around the world and in your own backyards. Students will become experts on the night sky learning about stars, planets, moons, and much more. Each child will receieve a yellow astronomy book that must be in Science class everyday. Students will periodically have homework in this book as well as their Science Notebook. In the near future I will be sending home information about stars and constellations so families can enjoy and learn about the sky together.
