September 2009
Dear Fourth Grade Families,
Welcome to Fourth Grade! There are many exciting events to look
forward to this year including switching classes, fun field trips, the
science planetarium, and much more. As you begin the new school year it’s
important to think positively on your new journey. A new school year means
meeting new friends, new teachers and creating lasting memories at Memorial
School.
I will be teaching your child ILA, Science, and Health this school
year. Communication with families is of the utmost importance throughout
year. The best way to contact me is through email. You may also access
important information including schedule, homework, what students are
learning, test prep and more through my teacher website online.
I am confident that each student can achieve individual success both
inside and outside of school. By creating a warm environment and working
cooperatively, our classroom will certainly thrive. I can’t wait to work with
each of you and see how extraordinary you are. I am looking forward to a
wonderful school year and together we will discover the joys of learning.
See you on the first day of school!
Love,
Ms. Shackleford
