of students and parents.

- Do I have to sign my child's agenda every day?
- What papers do I keep and which ones do I return to school?
What is the best way to contact my child's teacher?
The quickest and easiest way to send me a note is to write your
question or
comment in your child's agenda. Just be sure to write it in the
correct
date. EX: If you have a question or concern on Monday, Sept. 8th,
write your
question in the box next to Mon. Sept. 8th. I will write back the
same day.
Do I have to sign my child's agenda every day?
Yes. Even if there are no parent/teacher comments written in the
agenda, it
is best to sign it every day. This is a great way for both of us
to
communicate with one another. Be aware of the behavior check
marks at the
bottom, next to each Friday. This will tell you how your child
has behaved
throughout the week. As always, if there are any questions or
concerns,
please do not hesitate to write a note or call.
What papers do I keep and which ones do I return to school?
Your child has a folder for daily papers. If your child is a boy,
it is a
blue folder. If your child is a girl, she has a red folder.
Inside the
folder, you will see labels. The papers in the pocket
labeled "Leave Home"
are for you to take out and keep at home. The papers in the
pocket labeled "Sign and Return"
should be signed by you and returned to me the next day. Also,
each week,
you will see a Mennies folder. This is our Wednesday-
Communication folder.
These are important papers from the school, that must be read,
filled out
and return by the date listed on each paper. Thank you!
