Is it too late to join the PTA?

No, it is never too late to join the PTA. You may call our
membership chair: Maria Krieger at 201-843-6057 for more
information. You may come to a general meeting and sign up
there. There is also a form available on line that may be
downloaded, filled out and sent into school.

How much time will I need to devote to the PTA?

Families are asked to help out where and when they can. The first week of
September, a volunteer sheet is sent to you. Look it over, see if
anything interests you and help where you can. We all have
families and understand how difficult it is to find extra time to
volunteer. Any time that you can give is greatly appreciated.

What does the PTA actually do for Midland School?

Through our PTA's Cultural Arts Committee, and your donations, we
are able to provide the students of Midland school with fun and
informative assemblies.

We have been able to bring in well known artists, authors and
performers to share their talents and stories with the children.
We provide assistance during field day.

We sponsor a Fall and Spring Dance for the upper grades, a Fun
night for younger students. This year we are planning a Talent
Show and an Art Show to showcase the many talents of our
children.

These are just a few of the ways that the PTA helps to enhance
the educational experience at Midland School.
