When I graduated with a Master's, I spent several years teaching college.
After teaching, I decided to go to law school with the thought that I would
some day return to the classroom. I spent 15 years as a lawyer defending
the City of New York. While I loved being a lawyer, I wanted to get back to
teaching. I have taught at Northern Highlands Regional HS and Norwood
elementary school. This will be my fourth year in Rochelle Park.
The goal of the class is to make you think! History is not about memorizing
names and dates.
It is about discovering different views of the past -- what really happened.
It is about how the past has led to events taking place in today's world.
It is about learning from our past mistakes and trying to use that knowledge
to make a better world.
It is about applying technology to help us better imagine what we are
studying.
We will debate, discuss and discover.
