*Their name, color words, and number words...
a, the,
can, at
I , am
like, is
big, in, said
but, it
look, see, what

Math Money Songs

Penny, Penny
Easily Spent,
Copper Brown,
Worth 1 Cent!

Nickel, nickel,
Thick and fat,
Worth 5 cents,
I know that!

Dime, Dime,
Little and thin,
I remember—
You’re worth 10!

Quarter, Quarter
Big and Bold,
You’re worth 25
So I’m told!

Please practice these catchy songs with your child to help in learning Coins
and their values. Also maybe a plastic baggie of real money will help them
learn the coin, its worth, and how to add them together!

Thanks,
Mrs. Baranyay
