Hello there, my name is Miss Kristen Fagan. I have had the pleasure of
teaching Kindergarten in Riverdale since 2005! Kindergarten is my passion.
The first year of formal schooling is incredibly important to build a strong
foundation for a child's academic success. My goal is to fill my students'
year with learning, laughter, and fun.
I have also enjoyed my time as the Co-Director of our school play each year!
I enjoy spending time with my family and friends,reading,taking dance
classes,jogging, and traveling.
I feel the most critical part of academic success is to present new concepts
and skills in ways children feel comfortable and proud of their achievements.
We all learn at different paces and in a variety of ways. Some of us are
hands-on learners, while others may be more visual learners. I do my best to
present material to children in a manner which children both grasp these
concepts and have fun along the way. There is never a dull moment in Miss
Fagan's class!
