Some very exciting things have happened this year! Not only did I start
working at Riverdale I also got married! So if you hear your youngster
calling me by a different name that's why.
I just like to say how excited I am to be a part of the Riverdale
staff and I am looking forward to our 2011-2012 school year. In 2009, I
graduated from the College of Saint Elizabeth with a bachelor degree in
Elementary Education/Psychology with a concentration in Special Education. I
started my career in education as an instructional aide and quickly moved
into the Title 1/BSI teacher. Now in my second year of teaching I am the
resource room teacher here at Riverdale.
I believe that with an education you can do anything you set your mind to.
Learning can be fun and exciting. This year I hope to show to you and your
youngsters how much fun learning and having a love for learning can be!
