To promote writing across the curriculum within the art discipline, students will be expected to complement their art work through written paragraphs that may include but are not limited to: a description of the project, expression of emotions evoked as part of the creative process, factual information learned in the process about their particular subject matter ( artists, periods of art, cultures) or a critique of their work.Students in the Junior High (6-8) as well as 5th grade, may be given quizzes or tests during the marking period which will cover work learned that semester. All homework assignments if and when given should be treated seriously, handed in on time and executed properly.
