School Supplies

Some students like to shop for school supplies before school 
actually opens.  At the Middle School it is very important to be organized 
since you will be moving from class to class.  Below are some suggestions 
for school supplies.

1. Notebooks - Everyone’s preference is different.  You should think
               carefully about how you like to organize and choose one of 
               the methods below.
                  *3 Ring Binder – some students like to get a morning and 
                   afternoon binder in different colors to help keep them    
                   organized 
                  *Spirals – one per subject
                  *Trappers
2.  Subject separators are very important
3.  Paper for 3 Ring Binder
       Three hole notebook paper – the reinforced kind is the best since it  
       does not tear as easily as the regular kind
4.  Plastic accordion file folder with a section for each
    Subject or a pocket folder for each subject
5.  Pens
       a. Black or blue pens only
6.  Pencils are required for Math
7.  Optional 
       a. Red pen for correcting 
       b. Highlighters
       c. Scotch Tape
       d. 3 Whole Puncher – the type that fits in a 3 Ring Binder
       8. An assignment pad will be given to you by the Guidance Department
