This upcoming school year we will explore the world of living things on both
the macroscopic and microscopic scale. Our exploration will consist of the
major units listed below:
Cells
Heredity
6 Kingdoms of Living Things
Human Biology
I recognize that each of you learns best in a different fashion. Therefore,
you will have the opportunity to gain knowledge through a variety of
activities and assignments. You can look forward to engaging in hands-on
laboratories, cooperative group work, independent work, interactive
discussions, and at home projects. In addition as we explore the above
topics we will continually ask ourselves, "Why is this important to me?" The
reason for doing so is to help you understand how the field of life science
applies to you, to other disciplines, and to the real world.
