Welcome to my website! I am glad you are taking the time to learn about
myself and my class. I hope you enjoy!
This is my fifth year teaching here at Arleth School. I taught second
grade for two years and this will be my third year teaching first grade! Many
of you may know me as Miss DeMaio but this past July I got married and became
Mrs.Saybolt! Before coming to Arleth, I graduated from the University of
Scranton in 2006 with a bachelors degree in Elementary Education. I enjoy
coming to school everyday, knowing I will learn something from the children,
just as they do with me.
In my spare time I enjoy running, snowboarding and spending time at the
beach! I am also a huge NY Giants Fan!
My mission as a teacher is to have the students feel that learning is fun
and enjoy coming to school everyday! My class is a safe, positive and fun
environment for my students to explore and learn. The students will build a
strong foundation for future independent activities. It is a structured
environment that will accommodate for all learning modalities and students
needs. My students are encouraged to stay determined and try their hardest
all the time to reach their potential. The students will be treated with
respect and fairness that they deserve, and will also do the same for their
fellow classmates.
