3-2 just loves to write, write, write!
This year we will be exploring the six traits or writing: word choice,
organization, voice, sentence fluency, conventions, ideas, and our (+1)
presentation.
This week we will be working on the trait(s): organization/conventions
This week the students will be writing letters to "pen pals." Students will
learn about proper letter writing form. They will also explore different
ideas and questions that they can ask their pen pals about their culture,
traditions, hobbies, families, etc. Once the students have perfected the
letter, they will begin to work on addressing a letter the proper way as
well. I look forward to seeing the wonderful work that the students will
produce.
