This is my 6th year teaching first grade at Arleth School. I graduated with
my Bachelors Degree in Political Science from Rutgers University in 2004.
Shortly after, I earned my Masters Degree in Elementary Education and
Instruction/Curriculum in 2006. I am passionate about teaching first grade
and I look forward to working with you and your child!
In 1-4, I hope to instill a love of reading and learning in all my students.
I believe reading is such an important part of being a successful student
and I encourage all my students to read, read, READ! Our classroom
environment is one in which students are encouraged to ask questions and
feel safe and comfortable to share their thoughts and opinions.
Parent/Teacher communication is a critical part of helping your child
succeed this year. Please feel free to contact me at anytime throughout the
