SCORE WITH BOOKS! The Battle of the Books is an optional reading motivation program which culminated in a Battle between teams on April 5. The third grade Battle of the Books had a sports theme which encouraged students to reach above and beyond to achieve higher reading goals! Participating students read a minimum of 4 of the 7 titles selected for this year's Battle. Coaches(team leaders) read all 7 titles. Congratulations to all our third grade participants who demonstrated team spirit and great sportsmanship in a close battle that went into three tie breaker rounds! A job well done, Team 4, our victors!
