Hand Poem:

Open, shut them
Open, shut them
Give a little clap, clap, clap
Open, shut them
Open, shut them
Place them in your lap, lap, lap
Creep them, creep them
Creep them, creep them
Way up to your chin
Open up your little mouth…Ahhhh
But do not let them in!

Story Time Hand Rhyme:

Sometimes my hands are at my side
  (hold hands at side)
Sometimes behind my back they hide
  (put hands behind back)
Sometimes my fingers wiggle so
  (wiggle your fingers)
I shake them fast, and I shake them slow
  (shake fingers fast and slow)
Sometimes my hands go clap, clap, clap
  (clap hands)
Now I rest them in my lap
   (rest hands in lap)
Now they're quiet as can be.
For story time you see.

Scarecrow Song
(Up On the Housetop)

Out in the field in a row of corn
Stands a scarecrow so forlorn
Crows on his head
and crows at his feet.

He's the saddest scarecrow
You'll ever meet.

Can't scare the crows
Oh, no no!
Can't scare the crows
Oh, no no!

Out in the field in a row of corn,
Stands a scarecrow so forlorn!
