We know we're a few days late on this, but we've FINALLY posted the 5 Finalists for our Best Website contest on our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/TeacherWebInc. You have from now until midnight next Wednesday, May 22nd, to vote on your favorite. The winner will receive a free year of TeacherWeb, and the 4 runners-up will get $15 Starbucks giftcards, so vote wisely! The Finalists' websites are posted in their own photo album on our Facebook page, so check those out first, visit the sites, click around, then come back and vote via our poll. Thanks for your participation - we were amazed by all the entries and fantastic websites that we got to review, and if you didn't end up in the Top 5, know that it's because there are so many stellar educators out there using our products to reach their students and families that it was almost impossible for us to choose. We hope you find this to be a useful tool throughout the school year. Back to School Night is Oct. 3. Below are some suggestions to help you during the month of September. Please label your child's backpack, lunch box and jacket with their name and class number (1A5). If your child is buying lunch, please put the money in an envelope labeled with your child's name. Place to envelope in the homework side of your child's Truman School folder so that it will be easy for him/her to locate it. Please remember to discuss the lunch options with your child prior to the school day. Homework is assigned Monday thru Thursday. Review each assignment with your child and assist them with any corrections that need to be made. Homework is to be completed in pencil unless directed otherwise. This year's school theme is "Reach for the Stars". We will work to help your child achieve his/her individual academic and social goals.
