Ms. McCarthy holds a Bachelors of Arts degree in English from Douglass
College, Rutgers University. In addition, she has earned a Masters of Arts
in Teaching from The College of New Jersey (formerly Trenton State College).
This is her eleventh year teaching second grade in the Sayreville School
District. Prior to working in Sayreville, she taught 5th Grade Math &
Science and worked in the private sector in the field of magazine publishing.
