TAG Trip To Washington DC
Friday, Oct. 26 through Sunday, Oct.28th
A trip to DC is being organized by Mrs. Gabriele. A flyer was distributed to ALL Grade 4 TAG students and any Grade 5 student interested in attending. Even though Grade 5 students will be in the MS next Oct., they and their families are welcomed to join us, since there was not a trip in the 2011-2012 school year.
Prices are as follows:
$475 per person for a QUAD- four people in one room
$509 per person for a Triple- three people in one room
$575 per person for a double- two people in a room
This includes all transportation, admissions, hotel, two breakfasts and two dinners for the three days. Lunch is on your own. There are many places such as food courts, snack bars etc. for lunch. We will also have professional tour guides accompany us.
The itinerary includes a Tour of the Pentagon, Ford's Theatre, Capitol, Library of Congress, Supreme Court, Arlington National Cemetery, twilight tour of the city's monuments and memorials & time to enjoy the Smithsonian Museums.
Our hotel is the Holiday Inn Capitol, which is located right in the city, near the National Mall. If you are interested, you will need to send a $100.00 deposit PER PERSON to Mrs. Gabriele by Monday, May 21st so that we can move forward. We need 40 paying people to attend, so feel free to bring other family members and friends! I hold on to all deposits until we meet the required 40 people. You can send a check written to Educational Travel Adventures or, if you prefer to use a credit card, have your child see me for a form. Once deposits are sent in, they are non refundable. I will let you know when I do plan on sending them to the tour group. If you are two people attending and would like to share a room to make it economical, contact Mrs. Gabriele.
