How will I know what homework is assigned to my child?

Your child will write his/her homework assignments in the 
assignment pad (agenda),provided by the PTO.

Does my child's assignment pad need to be signed?

Yes, please initial your child's assignment each night, as I will 
do the same when the assignment is written down.

How can I communicate with Mrs. Kassman?

You may call the school (732-316-4050) or e-mail me at 
betsy.kassman@sayrevillek12.net. You may also send in a note with 
your child.

What days do the students in Mrs. Kassman's class have library?

Our class will attend the Media Center for book borrowing every 
other Tuesday. At times, these days will be changed to due days 
off, programs, etc. Be on the lookout for notices going home 
regarding changes in library days.

Does my child have to cover his/her language arts books?

No, all workbooks/textbooks in my Resource class will be kept in 
the classroom, so they do not have to be covered.

Does my child have to supply a notebook?

No, I will supply all necessary notebooks/journals.

Should my child bring pens to class?

No, I usually have the children use only pencils. Sometimes, we 
will use pens or markers, but I will provide these items in 
class. In addition, I do not allow Smencils or mechanical pencils 
in class.
