Help! I’m Trapped in Trapped in My Teachers’ Body

The class will read, Help! I’m Trapped in Trapped in My Teachers’
Body,
by Todd Strasser.
A chapter will be assigned each night. See schedule below.
For each chapter:
Define at least one unfamiliar word.
Write at least one question for each chapter and supply the answer.
Questions and Vocabulary will be shared in class the next day.
Chapter 1 will be done in class. Use definitions and questions done
in class to model your questions and definitions after.
EXAMPLE WORK
Chapter 1 Vocabulary-
1. esophagus- n. gullet or throat
2. hacking- cough with rasping noise
Chapter 1 Questions
1. What was Mr. Dirksen’s invention designed to do that he was
experimenting with at home?
Answer: He was trying to build an electronic device that would transfer
information from one person to another and eliminate the need for schools and
teachers.
2. Should Mr. Dirksen have told the students to shut up? Why or why not.
Answer: No, Mr. Dirksen should not have told the students to shut up. He
should have given them experiments to work on and they would have paid
attention. He should not have talked to his students that way.
( Question word examples you can use: who, what, where, when, why, how,
which, do, did, does, is are, etc.)
