Freshman Orientation 1/4/12

December 23, 2011

Dear Parents and Guardians of Eighth grade students:

You and your child are invited to attend a Freshman Orientation at the Sayreville War Memorial High School on Wednesday, February 4, at 7:15 PM in the high school auditorium. Graduation requirements, scheduling, available courses and general high school information will be presented.

You are also invited to attend an Advanced Placement Informational Session which will be held the hour before the orientation at 6:00 PM. This presentation will address an overview of our advanced placement program available for students in grades 10-12, which classes are available, course prerequisites, and the quantity of coursework. Although this is one year early, you may be interested in this information now.

I invite you to preview our Guidance Office website which provides the most up-to-date information about the programs and services available for your high school student. The web address is http://teacherweb.com/NJ/SayrevilleWarMemorialHighSchool/HSGuidance/wscal1.aspx.

I look forward to meeting you on the 4th!

Sincerely,

Mrs. Donna Sicola
