This is my 19th year teaching chemistry at SPFHS, and I also advise the
Chemistry II Science League and the Bible Club. I graduated from Rutgers
University with a major in Chemistry and Education. I went back to graduate
school at Rutgers afterwards to get my masters in Science Education, and I am
currently working on a second Masters degree. My other favorite classes in
college besides Chemistry were Spanish and Ceramics. I also enjoy running,
frisbee, and piano, but most of all being with my family.
I am madly in love with my wife and this past summer we celebrated our 5th
wedding anniversary. Our son, Justin, just turned 4 and has begun his first
5-day preschool. He likes bugs, music, and mixing things together. Our
daughter Grace, who is 2 and a half, is funny, observant, and wants to do
everything by herself! Claire just turned 1, is all smiles, says "Da Da" and
"Ma Ma," is crawling really fast, and really wants to walk!
"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of
peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call
upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me
and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by
you, says the Lord..."

You CAN do chemistry! Whether it comes easily to you or not, don't ever give
up! For those of you who "aren't science or math people," those days are over!
Come talk to me whenever necessary - and don't let yourself fall behind! I'm
in school before 7 am daily so come on in for extra help! (an ounce of
prevention is always worth more than a pound of cure) I am looking forward to
a great year with YOU!
