About The Teacher

     I started teaching at SPFHS in 1993. Since then, I directed five musicals with Mrs. 
Wellman and one drama.   I have two boys (Jack and Brian), and I received my Ph.D. from NYU in 2007.  
     I have a 1969 Chevelle convertible, the same best friend since sixth grade, and I 
can say the alphabet backwards!

Mission For The Class

     I want my students to like coming to my class and to admit that they are getting 
something out of it.  I want to help them be prepared for whatever it is they want to do 
in the future.  I want to keep challenging them - not only to learn but to smile, and to 
practice tolerance to the point of kindness.
     I hope that my students never take one moment for granted and always let the 
people you love know you care.
