Dear Seventh Graders,
Welcome to the world of Junior High! Hopefully, you will find your seventh
grade a year both challenging and enjoyable!
The Seventh Grade curriculum will focus on young adult discussions in
Religion, the practice of higher level thinking skills in Math, hands-on
Science experiments, and role-playing and decision making which will make
History come alive.
The summer reading novel assigned to Seventh Graders is The Witch of
Blackbird Pond by Elizabeth George Speare. I encourage you to read carefully
since we will have a class discussion when you return to school. We will also
do a class activity based upon the novel.
In order to help prepare you for the school year, I ask you to come equipped
with the following supplies:
---Homework assignment book
---Black and red pens
---Pencils
---Scissors
---Ruler
---Protractor
---Scotch tape
---Glue stick
---Eraser
---Crayons, colored pencils, or markers
